Welcome Home.

I'm thinking it's been over a MONTH since my last blog...that tells you just how busy we've been! Gavin, you are now a resident of Kentucky. Thought it would never happen and when it did mommy was so stressed and frightened of the change that it almost DIDN'T (believe it or not). Your sweet daddy was much more convinced and ready for the move that I, even though it had been all I talked about for at LEAST a YEAR! But...we're here now and all is well :).

Mommy has a new job...teaching 3 and 4 year olds at Tyner Elementary. I've been working for a little over a month now, while you have been staying at home with your amazingly wonderful Nana. And she falls more in love with you every day...if that's possible? Daddy has been gone for the past 2 weeks, because unfortunately in his career change, he had to give his previous job 2 weeks notice...BUT mommy could jump out of her skin with excitement because TONITE he should be home (if he doesn't get too tired with the drive).

It's Labor Day Weekend, which means 3 day weekend for momma, which in turn means 3 day weekend with my baby boy and hubby (BIG BIG SMILES HERE!!!).

You have became quite the little dancer over the last month>>>you love to squat and stomp those feet and sometimes you even throw in a little twirling. It's truly precious. As are you. You also like to stand in front of camera's or camera phones and scream "CHEESE" ! I may have a little ham on my hands...but I'm told that as a baby/child I was the exact same way.

You can say sooo many words now...really, too many to list! And you attempt repeating everything that we say. You know what that means...we better be watching what we say!!! Daddy and Papa have already been warned (wink, wink).

You will be 18 months old tomorrow. And to celebrate we are taking you to the Parade, the world renowned Jackson County parade (haha). And mommy is going to try my best to get some pictures to post. I've been neglecting the camera :-(.

You love pulling out Milly's hair...poor thing, she hasn't bitten you yet, but I can't say she hasn't tried! You love throwing her food and you love pouring out her water. Mommy is known to get aggravated when you do this, but no spanks...time out only (it appears to be the only thing that works).

You continue to eat the same foods...toast, mac-n-cheese, chicken nuggets, pizza, and fruit. You aren't to keen on trying new things, so I don't force you...NOT YET, that time will come though (when you're old enough to understand). HOWEVER, were born with that same sweet tooth that mommy has. You'll eat any form of chocolate or anything with sugar in it for that matter.

You're growing like a weed and at times I could be brought to tears to see that my baby is becoming a little boy. The most beautiful little boy.

You still love Mickey Mouse and mommy and daddy plan on throwing you a Mickey party when you turn 2 (Yes guys, I'm already planning).

You've been sleeping in bed with mommy for the last few weeks...but tomorrow night that will all change. Back to the crib. And we are already dreading this transition. You are very strong willed and most likely will cry for a very very very long time before falling asleep. You may find mommy in the hallway crying right with you. I love snuggling with my little cuddlebug.

Sorry no pictures...hopefully soon. Mommy has to go get ready for the day now.

Love you to the moon and back baby boy!
